About Us

Mission

Impact Thrift Stores is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization whose primary mission is to financially support local charities through the net proceeds generated by our thrift store operations.

Our financial support of these local non-profits enables their staff to spend more time doing what they do best—feeding the hungry, housing the homeless, and supporting children and families in need.

Our Stores

Shopping at Impact Thrift is like a treasure hunt... you never know what you will find.

At Impact Thrift Stores, you will find clothing, furniture, bric-a-brac and books, jewelry, household items, appliances and more! Our desire is to keep the quality of our merchandise high and our customers happy as we achieve our goal of financially supporting locally-based charities. Our four store locations are set up like small department stores, clean, organized and professionally staffed. All donated items are carefully processed and inspected.

Making a difference in the community

Our financial support of these local charities helps these organizations spend more time on their mission and less time fund-raising. Impact Thrift Stores also works cooperatively with other charities, such as Jewish Family and Children’s Service, helping them meet the material needs of their clients.

  • We provide an economic benefit to the local community by selling quality merchandise at low prices.
  • We welcome teens and adults who have mandatory or volunteer community service hours to fill. Click here to learn more about volunteer opportunities at our stores and Donation Processing Center in Montgomeryville.
  • We provide educational opportunities for students in elementary through high school. Click here for more information.
  • We provide employment opportunities. Visit our Jobs page for more information.
