May 30, 2014

On Saturday, June 21st, from 11am -1:00 pm, Impact Thrift Stores will invite the crafting community to its Feasterville location at 91 E. Street Road to participate in a Mobile DIY Workshop event. Denise Sabia presents The Crafty Camper at Impact Thrift Stores Feasterville on June 21, 2014 Anyone wishing to participate in this free event should rsvp to lindsay.varzaly@impactthrift.org or call (267)-387-0030 x5106.  This is an outdoor event, to take place in front of the Feasterville store.  In case of inclement weather, it will be moved indoors.

Denise Sabia will demonstrate and help you create all the fun things you’ve been pinning on Pinterest. Denise will host the event alongside her Crafty Camper, a mobile DIY workshop packaged neatly in a 1972 Shasta Camper.  She and her caravan of crafts will be teaching you how to upcycle thrift store finds into new and creative items for your home. It’s time to stop pinning and start crafting.  Learn what to do with all those mason jars and other odds and ends you’ve been collecting.

Denise Sabia, is author of “The Painted Home” blog. Denise’s Painted Home brand, engaging personality, and design style have been featured on HGTV’s Design Basic, FOX 29’s Good Day Philadelphia, The Philadelphia Home Show, Flea Market Style magazine, Country Living magazine’s 2011 “Blue Ribbon Blogger” award nominee.

According to Community Outreach Liaison, Lindsay Varzaly, “Impact Thrift is a great resource to find craft supplies that would cost much more at retail stores.  We are thrilled to invite Denise Sabia to our store to share some ecofriendly, low budget projects.”
