Fill That Truck!

Community Wide Donation Drive
Network Now is hosting a community-wide donation drive in Buckingham the morning of August 30th. Impact Thrift Store will be sending a truck to 3664 Hancock Lane in Buckingham to pick up donations of furniture, appliances, clothing, shoes, movies, books, household items, holiday decorations and more. All donations are tax deductible.
“The need for merchandise has drastically increased due to the downturn in the economy,” said Jo Greenawalt, Executive Director of Impact Thrift Stores. The community is encouraged to clean out closets, garages and basements of gently used items and help “Fill That Truck”. Donations should be dropped off on the front lawn early on Tuesday morning August 30. Impact Thrift operates three local non-profit thrift stores and supports thirteen local charities with the net proceeds of sales. They also provide furnishings to help house homeless families.
Jamie Broderick, founder and owner of Network Now, began hosting this donation drive at her home several years ago as a part of her annual Yellow Bus Party, a champagne breakfast for moms to celebrate the start of school.
